In the United States, the free market is constantly under attack. The Obama administration and their allies in Congress are now trying to bring down the principles of free market. The most obvious indicator is the universal health care plan that is pending in the US Senate. When this bill turns into law, the online pharmacies based in the United States and other Western States have to shut down. While providing health care for all seems a very attractive line, this can also destroy the free market system as we know it. Free market plays on the principle that there should be minimal government intervention in business affairs and its role should be limited to enforcing contracts and preventing the creation of monopolies. The Universal Health Care system provides that anti-impotency drugs like Levitra and weight loss medication would be handled by the state. Sounds good? No.
There are many reasons why we should oppose the plan. The huge pharmaceutical companies would be the one supplying the government with medicines to treat impotent men and obese children. According one estimate, there are at least 15,000,000 impotent men in the United States. If every impotent man uses at least 10 Cialis pills in a month, the total number pills needed to treat all these men is 1.8 billion pills. If the government would buy Cialisfor a discounted price of $10 a pill, the cost for the taxpayers for this condition alone is $18 billion dollars. If the government would buy the same from online pharmacies, the bill would only amount to $3.906 billion (That’s a difference of 461 %!). However, it is highly unlikely that the State would buy the medicines from the online pharmacy markets given the strict patent laws and the lobby power of the huge pharmaceutical industries. Who will pay for the 18 billion dollars? – The tax payers including the impotent men.
